Watermelon, also known as coffin watermelon (Citrullus Schrad.), is a type of plant in the Cucurbitaceae family, including four species. It originated in South Africa and is now cultivated worldwide, including in the United States, China, Turkey, Brazil, and Iran. Watermelons are sun-loving and moisture-loving plants, making them best suited to growing in tropical conditions.
Cowon is about 92% water (its English name is watermelon), making it an excellent thirst quencher and hydrator. Rich in fiber, which supports the body in the fight against aging, antioxidants, vitamins - A, B, C, and K - and minerals - potassium, iron, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, copper, calcium, and selenium - watermelon is an extremely healthy, low-calorie snack, just in time for summer afternoons bathed in the scorching rays of the sun.
Watermelon doesn't need any additives to delight our taste buds, but it will also work with other fresh fruits or as a dessert addition.
