The only place in the world where this magnificent plant grows is the Kalahari Desert, in southwestern Africa. In this extremely dry region, practically devoid of vegetation, the devil's claw had to develop a special root system to store moisture. Growing up to a depth of 120 cm, it branches into a cluster of tuberous roots similar to those of the potato. One hundred kilograms of these roots yield six kilograms of raw material containing the active substance.
The plant gets its name from the appearance of the spiny pods that develop from the bright red flowers. These pods are like the devil's claws – they are so strong that pliers must be used to free the hooves of animals caught in them. Each root is dug up separately, sliced, dried, and crushed. This results in a sticky substance that is difficult to handle.

Devil's claw has an anti-inflammatory effect and relieves various pains. It is also an excellent antioxidant. Indeed, it prevents stress and reduces the loss of cell vitality.

INGREDIENTS:

Devil's claw, gelatin (capsule shell), microcrystalline cellulose (filler substance), magnesium stearate and/or silica (anti-caking agents).

APPLICATION:

One capsule per day.
